Rubber-Duck the Expected Path
Use a spoken expected-versus-actual walkthrough to reveal skipped assumptions.
Do not explain the diagnosis first. Explain the path. A rubber-duck walkthrough is not a performance. It is a structured way to make assumptions audible. Start with the actor and context. Then say each step in order. At each step, say what you expected and what actually happened. Use plain language Avoid system shorthand until the path is clear. 'The vendor form fails' is too compressed. 'I attach this file, select this vendor type, choose this payment term, and the submit button stays disabled' is useful.
