Separate active and passive footprint

Distinguish active and passive digital footprint so you can choose the right control.

Your footprint has two trails: the trail you publish and the trail systems collect. Active footprint Active footprint is intentional or semi-intentional public material: profile bios, posts, comments, photos, reviews, public resumes, portfolio files, and anything you submit into a visible space.
