MTPE Is Triage, Not Rewriting
Use MTPE triage to distinguish meaning-critical fixes from optional style preferences.
The question is not "Can I make this sound better?" It is "What risk does this edit reduce?" Must-fix Must-fix edits protect meaning and function. They include mistranslations, missing negatives, wrong numbers, incorrect names, damaged placeholders, wrong units, and terminology that changes the product or obligation. These are the edits that justify stopping approval. Should-fix Should-fix edits improve the target for the actual reader.
