Change communication is specialized communication addressing the human resistance and uncertainty that accompanies organizational change—mergers, restructuring, new technology, cultural shifts, or strategic pivots. People naturally resist change because it creates uncertainty and threatens established routines. Effective change communication acknowledges concerns, explains rationale, provides clear information about what's changing and what isn't, outlines the journey (including difficulty), demonstrates leadership commitment, and creates forums for questions and feedback.
