A Good Ticket Is a Handoff Contract

Write a troubleshooting ticket that preserves facts, reproduction steps, impact, and ownership.

A ticket should transfer the problem without transferring confusion. Good tickets carry enough context for the next person to act. They do not need to be perfect. They do need to be concrete. Facts before theories Put observed facts and reproduction steps first. Then add hypotheses under a separate heading. This prevents your theory from becoming a false route.
